2015 SABAH VACATION

Family bonding time

1) This is the late post and now I am at Beaufort  (2/5/2016) attending an event so called 1AZAM Program with YB Datuk Azizah, MP of Beaufort. Tonight I have nothing to do then I decided to flashback my vacation last year on October 22nd till 28th.

We were at Poring Hot Spring. Nice Place!

2) I just realised that I did not posted my family's experiences on our vacation in Sabah as what I did during our 2014 Langkawi vacation. Ok, it doesn't matter because it's just 6 months late to post.

In KLIA before departed. Take time to selfie first!!

3) Ok,let's start!! First of all, we plan vacation every years by doing vacation's savings to fulfill the plan.

4) We departed from Putraya Central on 22nd of October 2015. This time we were not only three of us but we were with my parents in law. I dont want to prolong my words, we directly go to itinerary as follow:

Yezza!! Snorkelling time. Seriously it was clean water

5) Actually, we brought along our parents to Sabah to see my sister in law. She just worked in Beaufort as a teacher. That's the reason, we have to spend a day at Beaufort and Kuala Penyu as our Sabah's exploration. While visiting her, we have time to explore the nearest spot as to see a place where turtles were discovered a lot at one time before in Kuala Penyu.

6) Zasss, proceed to pictures...

LET'S SQUID FISHING WITH PAPAZOLA

1) Actually this was my second time experience on squid fishing or "mencandat sotong" in Terengganu, Malaysia. The activity was held annually and was organised by head of squid fishing named Mije. He was one who responsible to manage the activity as well.

Waw!!Finally i caught big squid
2) This post just to share my experience and how wonderful to have this such activity with buddies. We planned well to depart from Putrajaya at night on 22nd of April 2016. This time, we were 9 participants. The activity started next day on Saturday afternoon at 5.30 pm. Fortunately, the weather seems good with not too speedy wind.

3) We checked in at homestay in Marang. The price was awesome, just RM100 a night. Very affordable!! The owner said, we can check out on Sunday and it considered one day. ( checked in at 4am on Saturday, checked out at 12noon on Sunday)
4) How about boat fee? We booked a bit late and through middle man (broker) then the price a bit expensive RM1450 for small boat suitable for 10-12 passengers. Normally, if directly from owner of the boat - the price only RM1000. But it's ok due to late booking. But next time, go directly to owner. While we were waiting at jetty, we knew a man who claimed himself as owner of the fishing boat. He offered RM1500 for big boat with up to 15 passengers. Good news!

The boat at Chendering Jetty

5) The squid fishing season is on March to Mei every years. Then, it's just nice for our trip on 22nd April. The full moon appeared would give us lots squids. Allah wills!

Steady!!don't ever dizzy
6) 5.30pm on 23rd April, we departed from Chendering Jetty at Kuala Terengganu. Our first plan to fishing "ikan kerisi" but due to a bit late departure, we proceed to squid fishing.

Some of my buddies who joined the trip
7) I felt a bit headache and I know it's because I didn't take lunch. Only late breakfast with a plate of nasi minyak. Of course, I was dizzy and headache. At night during fishing, I have to vomit to release dizziness. If not, I would collapse and no more squid for fishing. Fortunately, lots I caught and the best was all big squids I successfully defeated.

8) All my buddies enjoyed fishing and some gone collapse while the rest still ok until 12am. After that, all collapse due to windy in the middle of the sea, so sleepy!

9) I love the experience, firstly to have experience on fishing and second on relaxing mind on the boat and away from business. Our catch was more than 20kg squids. Waw!!great..

10) Dear gang, tick your calendar on next year squid fishing. Feel the experience, feel the excitement!!

11) Nah....the pictures..

Don't judge a book by its cover

1) The first impression play very important role for everyone to do assumption upon someone. The assumption may be good and sometimes more to otherwise. Many misjudge people they don't really know as bad one. Yes, we have instinct to say the people good, better, the best, bad, worse and the worst are depending on our style of judgement and assumption.

2) From my points of view, when we do assumption on someone before we know him/her deeper is considered unfair. The truth will come after we know his/her background and everything about them. I myself can say this people is blablablablabla but the truth is contrasting from reality.

3) The best way to avoid misjudgment is knowing the people very well before we say something.

4) This is the common issue that people always do. The other issue is when a person look down on others even though they have known deeply each others. The feeling of untrusted to the people we looked down was totally unfair because their thoughts and understanding upon something were not in line with us. They might have their style of thoughts but the objective are same. The thoughts of implementation are different but both focused to get same result. Meaning to says, this people used this method of calculation to get equal ten: a person said 5+5=, the other person said 4+6=? Both have same objective/result. The situation worsen when someone couldn't accept that their method of calculation rejected; their thoughts are putted aside. Only this method considered correct and the rest wrong. How unfair is it?

5) The feeling of looking down on someone I mentioned above is not accepted because we never give him/her any chances to prove themself as the best. They have rights to correct the bad judgement if they are given chances. Everyone was granted with different expertise and the way we use minds to solve matters. It is unfair if we simply judge a person without any consideration. So, don't do comparison who is the best and the best is given full attention with high respect. The treatment given should be equally.

6) I observed this habit rampant exercised. Please realise that we all have feeling to be treated equally with no bias. Remember that you and I are two different actors who have different style of thoughts. Hence, you won't be me and I won't be you forever.

7) I'm not going to prolong this to many more words. But, my stand is we are human beings - we must respect each others. Do not ever look down on others by comparing ourselves are the best. We were created with different style of thoughts. Don't judge a book by its cover, have a great journey from many pieces inside, there must be interesting story, insyaAllah.
